Hotel felt very safe as you have to buzz to get in, fantastic location and easy to find, Kind helpful staff , good breakfast most days if a little limited to cakes and croissants.

No televisions in rooms, very hot rooms, people smoking on the second floor all night, hotel wasnt keen to accept card payment but didnt push for payment on arrival.

The location is excellent, staff is always helpful. The room size for our family of three was generous. Overall, great value. We'll stay there again.

Location, location, location last time I visited the room was not bad at all

I stayed at the hotel last year when I visited venice. we stayed in twin room, even though the room did not had an air conditioner it was not bad at all. good size room, lovely bathroom, big windows. but boy, I was not ready for the surprise!!! This time I booked triple room. no air conditioner it it was hot in venice! Middle of the summer! Even though the bathroom size was ok, shower cabin was not present at all!! There was something that use to be a shower cabin but was long gone, only metallic forms left from it. instead of shower glass there was only shower curtain. water was all over the place. when we wanted to take a shower the water did not mix! Shower was very old and broken. it was either cold or hot! Very disappointing!!!

The location is good and near water-bus station. Easily accessible to interesting and historic places by walk. Staff were nice and friendly. Worth for price.

Hot at night (no air conditioner, just a fan) and beaten by several mosquitoes.

The loft design of our three person room made the stay very comfortable, as each of us had plenty of personal room. Also, fans on each level kept the room from getting too hot. Very quiet location at night.

It is a little hard to find, but the staff was very helpful in giving us directions in Venice.

Great location in Venice.Terrific helpful staff (everyone one of them). Big room and bathroom .. very clean. Twin beds not good for honeymoon ... but everything great otherwise.

Finding the entrance to the hotel unmarked was not exactly what we had expected, but then there are no street signs in Venice!. Once we located it and checked in, we found our room to be large and very well appointed. The bathroom was of sufficient size to accommodate the two of us at the same time. The view from our room was into the courtyard which was very appealing. The location was perfect - very close to public water transportaion. Reception staff was very friendly and very helpful in making our stay enjoyable. Upon our departure, arrangements were made for a water taxi to the airport by reception. Due to our early morning flight, we were provided a snack for the morning the night before. Our stay was very enjoyable and we were pleased with our selection of this hotel.

We were somewhat disappointed with the breakfast offerings and the serving staff. The selection was very limited and the staff was not overly friendly.

Quietness, located near art institutes and gallery.

It's a bit noisy, not from its external position but thin walls and wooden floors so you can hear the other guests

The hotel was spotless and staff very helpful.

The breakfast was very limited - cereal, fruit juice, yoghurt and croissants - no choice at all, not even any fruit. The coffee was good and plentiful though. It was quite hard to find - best way is to get off water bus at Accademia bridge, cross over and then take the second small bridge on your left (the first bridge on your left is closed anyway). The door to Foresteria Levi is facing you - no sign on it - just look for the number 2893

Wonderful hotel, well located, very good breakfast, very enjoyable and pleasent stay.

It was a little bit difficult to localize.

not many facilities and hard to find.

We were a sports group travelling for a tournament and tacked on a night in Venice. We booked Foresteria Fondazione Levi because of its ability to host groups. The triple's and quad rooms were really great - on one level there were a couple of single beds, then there was the loft room up a set of stairs with a double - so I definitely recommend it for either groups or families. There are no fridges in the room, and while it's not air conditioned they do provide fans. It was very warm while we were in Venice....so be aware that there's no A/C. The Academia stop is a 2 minute walk (not even) away, and we had to be on a bus at Piazziale Roma at 6:40 - the waterbuses were runing from around 4:30am so it's absolutely ideal! Staff were brilliant - even packed us a little bag of goodies for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it. It's basic but brilliantly so!
